MEAT AND VEGETABLE SKILLET 
1 lb. ground meat
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch (optional)
1 (10 oz.) frozen vegetables
Croutons or canned French fried onions (optional)

In a 10-inch skillet combine meat, onion and green pepper. Cook until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat. Combine soup, milk, thyme, basil, and salt; stir into meat. Add starch option and desired vegetable. Cover; simmer 25-30 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally, if desired. Garnish with croutons or French fried onions. Serves 4.
