CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter, cooled
1 tsp. vanilla

Topping:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water

Sift sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa together into a 9-inch square pan. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Spread batter in pan.

Mix topping sugars and cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour the 1 1/2 cups of water over all.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
