STRAWBERRY FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. mashed, ripe figs
3 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin

Mix all ingredients well. Bring to a boil. Cook 4 minutes at rolling boil. Stir frequently. Skim and pour into sterilized jars. Seal.

NOTE: Do not double this recipe.
