EASTER BREAD 
5 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. warm milk
1/4 lb. butter
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. Crisco

Add egg yolks to warm milk, also yeast (dissolve in 2 teaspoons of sugar). Then add flour, sugar and salt. Work by hand. Melt butter and Crisco then add to your dough. Put in a warm place to rise, about 1 hour. Punch down. Shape into loaves and let rise in greased pans about 40 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees until browned or hollow when tapped on bottom. Bake 45-60 minutes. Yield: 2 loaves.
