CURRIED PEAS 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 (13 oz.) can condensed milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. curry powder (more if desired)

Cook peas, onion, salt and pepper in boiling water until tender; drain off water. Add condensed milk; bring to boil over medium heat. Add cornstarch which has been dissolved in small amount of water; boil only until thickened. Add curry; boil 1 minute longer, covered, to prevent sticking in bottom of pan. Excellent served with turkey.
