OYSTER DRESSING 
1/2 c. butter
2 med. onions, minced
1/2 c. celery, minced
1/2 c. bell pepper, minced
4 tsp. parsley, minced
1/2 c. green onion, minced (tops opt.)
3 doz. sm. oysters, chopped (reserve oyster liquid)
Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper
Worcestershire sauce
4 c. bread cubes (French bread)

Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Saute first 5 ingredients with seasonings until onions are transparent. Add chopped oysters and simmer approximately 15 minutes. Add bread cubes and mix well.

If mixture seems too thick, add some of the oyster liquid. Adjust seasoning. Transfer mixture to baking dish and bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve immediately.
