ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES 
2 c. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
2/3 c. almonds (measure whole & grind fine)

Combine ingredients and mix well with hands. Roll 1/2 inch thick with 1 inch cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Put in cold oven. Bake for 1 hour at 275 degrees. When done, let cool. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
