ICE CREAM PIE 
1 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 c. ground nuts
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar

Mix all together. Line bottom of 9"x12" pan approximately 1/2" thick with mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

1 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add egg yolks, melted chocolate and vanilla. Mix well, fold in beaten egg whites. Spread 1/2 chocolate mixture over crumb crust. Chill 1 hour. Spread ice cream over chocolate and top with remaining chocolate mixture. Top with additional wafer crumbs and chopped nuts. Freeze.
