GERMAN SKILLET DINNER 
1 med. can sauerkraut, water rinsed
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/4 c. green pepper, diced
1 sm. onion, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
14 oz. ground beef
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
Sweetened to taste (opt. about 1 tsp.)

Brown meat; drain and turn out on paper towel or brown paper to drain fat well. Rinse sauerkraut and drain. Add all ingredients together in skillet and mix well. Cover and simmer 30 minutes over low heat, or put in casserole; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serves 2 for dinner.
