ALASKAN FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade 1 env. unflavored gelatin 1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling 1 c. whipping cream 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1/2 c. toasted almonds Prepare lemonade according to directions on can. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup of lemonade in saucepan. Blend in pudding; mix. Add 1 3/4 cup lemonade. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils. Let cool. Whip whipping cream and fold into cooled pudding mixture along with remaining ingredients. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart mold and chill several hours or overnight. "Unmold" onto lettuce and garnish with maraschino cherries. |
