RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS 
1 sm. box raisin bran cereal
3 c. flour
5 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt (less if you desire)
1 1/2 tbsp. baking soda
4 beaten eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
3 c. melted shortening

Mix first 5 ingredients together and then stir in remaining ingredients. Do not beat. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 400 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes. Be sure to grease tins well. Let set in pans 10 minutes before removing.
