CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (LARGE
BATCH)
 
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. real vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (24 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl blend together butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla and baking soda. Beat till fluffy.

Combine flour into the mixture in two parts. After mixing in the first part of flour add the chocolate chips and then mix the remaining flour.

Place tablespoon size balls of dough onto a non-stick 10x15-inch cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.

Typically makes around 64 cookies.
