POTATO PANCAKES 
3 or 4 lg. potatoes
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt

Grate the raw potatoes, add the well beaten eggs, salt and last the flour and baking soda. Drop by spoonfuls into a hot skillet, well greased with Crisco. Fry slowly until brown and crisp on both sides. You may adjust this recipe to suit your taste. These may be served warm with sugar, jelly or syrup. Eat alone or with a meal.
