GLAZED CARROTS (RACHEL'S) 
1 (1 lb.) pkg. carrots
1 tsp. salt
4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Peel carrots, cut in 2 inch length pieces. Cook in salt water until tender. Drain, melt butter and sugar together. Add carrots and cook until well glazed. Stir often.
