OATMEAL CRISP COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick cooking oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter and brown sugar; stir in eggs until smooth. Add flour, soda, oats, vanilla and nuts. Drop by spoonsful on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
