TOP OF STOVE RICE PUDDING 
Cook 3/4 cup of rice until tender (about 20 minutes). Blend in 3/4 cup sugar and 3 level tablespoons cornstarch. Add 2 well beaten eggs and 1 tablespoon vanilla and blend well. Add 1 quart milk. Cook until thickening while stirring. Will not scorch if cooked in double boiler.
