SALTY PICKLED MUSTARD CABBAGE 
1 1/2 lbs. mustard cabbage
3/4 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Cut cabbage into 1 inch pieces and put in a large jar. Combine remaining ingredients, dissolving all the sugar. Pour over cabbage. Be sure all of the cabbage is covered. Cover jar and refrigerate for 1 week.
