MISSISSIPPI MUD BARS
1 1/2 c. flour
4 eggs
1 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa
Dash salt
1 c. chopped nuts (I didn't use this much)

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed beat eggs, 1 cup butter, sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour, 1/4 cup cocoa and salt. Dough is kind of stiff but that is ok. Beat until well blended. Fold in nuts.

Spread batter in pan. Bake 10-15 minutes. Put marshmallows on top and put under broiler just until melted. Let cool at least 1 hour before frosting.

Frosting: Melt 1/3 cup butter in pan. Stir in 1/2 cup cocoa and 1/3 cup milk and cook 1 minute. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and powdered sugar; mix until smooth.
