COTTAGE CHEESE KOLACHY 
2 sticks butter
2 c. cottage cheese, sm. curd
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and cottage cheese thoroughly. Chill several hours or overnight.

Roll out on lightly floured board. Cut in 2" or 3" squares or rounds and place a small amount of stewed dried fruit or preserves on each. Fold over and seal edges. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 15 or 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
