FROSTING FOR APPLE CAKE | |
1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. (scant) heavy sweet cream 1 c. chopped pecans Mix brown sugar and butter, bring to a boil. Cool, add remaining ingredients, and spread on cake. Makes 12 to 15 servings. |
