FRUIT COBBLER 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Fruit filling

Have butter at room temperature. Beat well. Add sugar and beat well. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add lemon juice and lastly flour. Mix until well blended.

Pour batter evenly into a greased jelly roll pan. Add your favorite pie filling on top of batter. Do not press down. Just place 1 tablespoon into a small square, so that you may cut it in squares after it is baked.

Make them small or large, as you wish. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. After it is cooled, sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top. Cut in squares.
