SAUSAGE AND CHEESE CHOWDER 
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. water
1/3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 sausages (breakfast or other)
1 c. chopped carrots
1 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped onion
12 oz. canned corn with red and green peppers
10 oz. sharp Cheddar, shredded
1 can evaporated milk
Snipped parsley

Heat butter, carrots, celery and onion in large saucepan until bubbly. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, fry sausages. Drain. Slice into bite size pieces.

Stir flour into vegetable mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly. Stir in water, salt, celery salt, paprika, pepper and corn. Heat to boiling.
