RAISIN PUFF COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour

Raisins - over them pour 1 cup water and boil until dry. While it is still hot add 1 teaspoon baking soda and stir. Add remaining ingredients. Form into balls. Roll in sugar, press down with a tumbler. Bake at 350, 15 minutes.
