WHITE CHRISTMAS PIE 
1 tbsp. plain gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped stiff
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shredded coconut

Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Mix next 4 ingredients and cook over low heat stirring until it boils. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Stir in softened gelatin and let cool. Add vanilla and almond flavoring. Next gently fold in whipping cream whipped stiff. Beat egg whites adding cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar. Carefully fold into other mixture. Also fold in 1 cup coconut. Chill.
