WHITE CHRISTMAS PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. moist shredded coconut

Blend sugar, flour and gelatin. Stir in salt and milk, cook over medium heat until mixture boils 1 minute. Place pan in cold water, cool until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon. Blend in vanilla and almond flavorings. Make a meringue from 3 egg whites, tartar and sugar. Carefully fold into above mixture.

Fold in whipping cream and coconut. Pour into baked, cooled 9 inch pie shell. Sprinkle with coconut. Chill several hours. Serve cold.
