PORK CHOPS AND RICE 
PORK CHOPS:

4 (1 inch thick) pork chops
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 tsp. ginger
1 can Durkee fried onion rings

RICE:

2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. raw rice
1 can beef consomme

Pork chops - Brown chops. Place them in a greased casserole. Mix soup with ginger and cover chops. Top with onion rings. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 400 degrees covered.

Rice almandine - In butter saute almonds and garlic. Add consomme and 1/4 cup water. Add rice. Bring to boil. Put in separate greased casserole and bake in oven with pork chops.
