VERY BEST PIE CRUST | |
3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shortening 1/3 c. butter 1/2 c. water (approximately) Cut in shortening and butter together until well mixed. Add salt to flour, then add to shortening mixture. Cut until shortening is the size of peas. Add water in several different areas; mix until moistened. Form into ball and roll out. Handle as little as possible. |
