FRENCH COFFEE CAKE 
CHOCOLATE/CINNAMON SPRINKLE:

2 oz. Bakers unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Grate chocolate into small bowl. Add sugar and cinnamon. Mix with fork and set aside.

CAKE:

1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. sour cream
3 to 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda

Into large mixing bowl cream 1/2 lb. butter with 2 cups sugar. Add 4 eggs and mix. Add 1 pint sour cream. Add 3 to 3 1/2 cups of sifted flour. Also sift in 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Butter bottom and sides of spring form pan. Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Sprinkle 1/2 grated chocolate on top. Pour remaining batter on top. Get bubbles out by gently hitting pan up and down on counter. Sprinkle remaining chocolate on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour to 70 minutes.
