PEA SOUP 
2 cups pea soup uncooked - 500 ml
water for soaking
12 cups broth of your choice - 3 l
1 tbsp. non-hydrogenated butter Nuvel -15 ml
1 Onion, chopped
1 stalk celery cut diagonally
1 carrot into small pieces
bay leaf
1/2 tsp. ground savory - 2 ml
1/4 cup ham into small cubes - 60 ml
salt and pepper, to taste

Put the peas into a bowl and cover with water. Soak peas 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Discard the soaking water. Mix in a salad bowl the first ingredients. Add the peas and remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and simmer about 3 hours. Serve.
