SEASONED BEAN SPROUTS (A KOREAN
DISH)
 
1 lb. fresh bean sprouts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 green onion (chopped or shredded)
1 1/2 tsp. sesame seed oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. accent
1 to 2 tsp. roasted sesame seeds (crushed)

Wash bean sprouts once or twice and drain. Put in 4 1/2 quart pot with a cup of water. Cook at medium high temperature for 15 minutes. Remove pot from heat, rinse bean sprouts with cold water immediately and drain completely. Add all the seasonings and mix well with a fork. Keep in refrigerator for freshness. Serve cold. Serves 10.
