CLAM CAKES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. clam juice
Pinch of salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. clams (minced or chopped)
1 egg
Oil (any kind)

Beat egg and stir in milk, clam juice and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients.

Heat oil until the mixture will float. Drop by teaspoon or tablespoons. Fry until golden brown.
