CLAM CAKES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. clam juice
1 1/2 tsp. grated onion
1 c. clams (diced and drained)

Combine all ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls in hot deep fat.
