RICE KRISPIE FREEZER DESSERT 
5 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 c. Rice Krispies
2/3 c. nuts (optional)
2/3 c. coconut (optional)
2 qts. ice cream

Melt butter in pan; add sugar and heat slowly, stirring until blended. Add cereal. Toss well to coat. Remove from heat (add nuts and coconut). Reserve 1 cup cereal mixture for topping. Spread and press remaining cereal mixture in a 9x13 inch pan. Spread ice cream over crust. Sprinkle remaining mixture over ice cream. Cereal mixture may also be stored in refrigerator and used as a topping for ice cream.
