PEACH ICE CREAM 
4 c. finely chopped peaches, skinned
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 c. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix peaches and sugar together and let stand. Beat eggs and add sugar gradually. Beat until mixture is stiff. Add other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add peaches last. Any kind of fresh fruit can be used.

Hint: Ice cream freezes faster if freezer can and dishes are chilled beforehand. Makes 1 gallon.
