D.M.'S FROSTED SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 7-Up or lemon lime soda
20 oz. can crushed pineapple (drained well and 2 c. miniature marshmallows,
reserve juice)
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten well
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip or whipping cream (I use Cool Whip)

Mix Jello in boiling water, add 7-Up and chill until thick. Add pineapple and marshmallows. Chill until firm. Cook sugar, juice, flour and egg together, cook over low heat until thick. Cool; stir in softened cream cheese, chill. Fold in Cool Whip and spread on top of firm Jello. Sprinkle top good with coconut and nuts.
