PULL CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar

Mix sugar and vinegar. Cook until it forms a semi-hard ball in a cup of cold water. Then pour in a platter that has been lightly greased with Crisco oil. Proceed by going around the edges to get out of platter with a knife, using flour on hands to keep from burning hands. When all in out and you have a large ball, pull (two people pulling is easier) until almost hard. Then pull into a long rope (5-6 feet) on a table. Cut with scissors or knife in 2 1/2 - 3 inch lengths. Wrap each piece in wax paper that has been cut in approximately 5 x 5 inches by rolling candy and twisting each end. Yields 30-40 pieces.
