CHOCOLATE PECAN TURTLES 
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. pecan halves
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 3 ingredients to form crust. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans. In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until mixture starts to boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour caramel over pecans and crust. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with chocolate chips. Cool and cut into bars. Yield: 48.
