HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
1 (10 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
5 hot, cooked med. potatoes
1/2 c. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Brown meat and onion in large skillet. Add salt, pepper, green beans and soup. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash potatoes with milk and egg. Spoon potatoes in mounds over meat. Sprinkle cheese over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
