PIZZA CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. ground beef 2 (8 oz.) cans pizza sauce 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (optional) 3/4 tbsp. dried oregano, crushed 1 tsp. garlic salt 6 c. cooked and drained rotini or other sm. pasta 1/4 c. milk 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Brown beef in large skillet. Drain fat. Stir in pizza sauce, undrained mushrooms, oregano, and garlic salt. Bring to boil and remove from heat. In separate bowl combine pasta and milk. In 2-quart casserole, layer half each of meat sauce, pasta mixture and cheese. Repeat layers. Bake, covered, in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Garnish with salami or pepperoni slices, tomatoes and parsley if desired. Serves 6-8. |
