HOLIDAY FRUIT CAKE 
1 tube pan or 2 loaf pans
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 2/3 c. (28 oz. jar) brandy & rum flavored mincemeat
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 c. (1 lb.) candied fruit
1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

Butter 9 inch tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Line with wax paper. Butter again. Sift flour and soda. Combine eggs, mincemeat, condensed milk, fruit and nuts. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake slow (300 degrees) for 2 hours or until center springs back when touched and top is golden brown. Cool, turn out, remove paper. This makes a good gift.
