ENGLISH PEA CASSEROLE 
1 sm. jar pimento, drained
1 sm. can water chestnuts, drained
1 can English peas, drained
1 med. onion, sliced in rings
1 c. grated cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 stick butter
1 pkg. Ritz crackers

Drain together peas, pimento and water chestnuts. Place in casserole dish. Mix in mushroom soup, onion rings and 1/4 cup water. Then sprinkle cheese on top. Set aside.

In frying pan, melt butter and crumble Ritz crackers into melted butter; mix. Pour over cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees until cheese bubbles.
