RITZ APPLE PIE 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 c. water
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Bring this to a boil, then add 20 Ritz crackers, boil 2 minutes longer. Put in unbaked pie shell, dot with butter and cinnamon. Use pastry strips or cracker crumbs on top. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or until done.
