STRAWBERRIES IN THE SNOW 
3/4 c. sugar
1 env. plain gelatin
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 c. whipped cream
1 pkg. strawberry danish junket mix
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Dissolve first 3 ingredients over low heat and let cool in the refrigerator. Stir in the vanilla and sour cream; chill. Fold in the 1 cup whipped cream. Place in a mold with a hole in the center. Make the junket mix and cool. Add thawed strawberries (use the juice for the junket). Serve the strawberry mixture in the center of the white salad.
