3/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Cool Whip

Mix sugar and gelatin in saucepan. Add water and heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.

Fold above mixture into sour cream. Add vanilla and cool until slightly thickened. Add Cool Whip and blend with mixer. Pour into a round, Jello mold. Refrigerate.

To serve, turn out Jello mold. Place fresh whole strawberries in center. Makes small ring - so double for large ring.
