1 box Duncan Hines butter (yellow) cake mix
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 can mandarin oranges and juice

Mix all ingredients. Pour into 2 cake pans (greased and floured) and bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on wire racks for 10 minutes, remove from pans and continue to cool for 20 minutes. Ice cake when cooled.

ICING:

12 oz. Cool Whip
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 can crushed pineapple, including juice

Mix ingredients together in bowl. Ice cake and between layers. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans if desired. Serves 10.
