WET CHOCOLATE 
2 c. sifted plain flour
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten

Combine sugar and flour in bowl. In a saucepan, mix cocoa, water, butter and shortening. Bring to a rapid boil. Add the flour and sugar mixture. Dissolve soda in the buttermilk and add to the batter. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Bake at 375 degrees until done.

FROSTING:

3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Mix cocoa, milk, butter and sugar; boil. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread on hot cake.
