NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
6 c. pastry flour
2 c. lard (1 lb.)
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
Water

Using a pastry blender, blend flour, baking powder, salt and lard until crumbly.

Break 1 egg into a 1 cup measuring cup, add vinegar and stir up. Add water to 1 cup line.

Pour liquid into flour mixture and stir until it forms balls. Roll out. Makes 5 or 6 pies.
