SNICKER DOODLES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. sugar

Mix first seven ingredients. Chill. Form small balls and dip in mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
