STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DELIGHT | |
3/4 c. butter 2 1/2 c. pretzels, crushed, but not too fine 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 lg. box strawberry gelatin 2 c. boiling water 3 c. very cold strawberries or 1 bag frozen 3/4 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip Combine butter, brown sugar and pretzels and mix well. Put into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven; let cool. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries. Cool until set. Cream the cheese and the sugar well. Add whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. When gelatin begins to set, pour over cheese mixture. Put in refrigerator until firm. Do not use salted pretzels. |
