OREO COOKIE DESSERT II 
24 Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 jar hot fudge topping
1 lg. container Cool Whip

Crush Oreo cookies and put in bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan. Melt butter; pour over cookies and press into pan. Slice 1/2 gallon of ice cream and place on top of cookies; smooth edges of ice cream to create a solid sheet. Drizzle hot fudge topping on top of ice cream; add a layer of Cool Whip. Crumble a couple of cookies on top. Freeze and eat.
